We all know and have experienced inflation our whole lives, and if we were asked to define it we would all have differing perspectives, but none of them positive. It is technically described as, the sustained rise in the general price level of goods and services—more than a simple economic metric—it is a threat to the financial security of households, the stability of businesses, and the overall health of the economy. Many argue that moderate inflation is a normal feature of growth, but then qualify saying, that the persistence high or unpredictable inflation has serious consequences.
